I’m Kameryn, but you can call me Kami! I’m a cook, supper club host, and the face behind @kamsplate. I’m excited to take things a step further with this space, where I can share deeper stories about food, travel, supper clubs, & my life through food.

A little more about me

I studied Human Development and Global Health at UCSD and was headed to nursing school until about two years ago. I’ve always loved helping people, though I never imagined it could be through food!

Food has always been my greatest love. Some of my best memories have been made around a table. It wasn’t always clear how to turn this passion into a career; honestly, I’m still figuring it out as I go. But for now, I hope this space and my other social media platforms inspire you to get more creative in the kitchen, host a meal for the people you love, and push yourself out of your comfort zone.

What started as a fun school project in 2020 quickly grew into something much bigger, thanks to the encouragement of friends and family. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work as a private chef, cater events, host supper clubs, and collaborate with some amazing brands.

Food continues to teach and humble me every day. I love cooking fun and laid-back plant-focused food where I can highlight seasonal produce, support local farms and businesses, and cook as sustainably as possible.

My boyfriend and I recently relocated our little family up to the Pacific Northwest! Our German Shorthaired Pointer, Roma, is loving the vibes up here! We are all adjusting nicely to this new life!
