I’m Kameryn! I’m a cook, supper club host, and the face behind @kamerynmhoban. You may have found me from the Irish Bread recipe I made with my Nan, or by attending one of my supper clubs. Either way, thank you for being here. Food was my first true love, and I am grateful for the opportunity to turn this passion into my career. I hope this space inspires you to have fun in the kitchen, try a new vegetable, or throw a dinner party for your loved ones.
Food units all of us, it brings us all together in ways we often can't explain. Food is culture, love, and tradition all wrapped up in beautiful presentation.
A little more about me
I studied Human Development and Global Health at UCSD and had planned to become a nurse-midwife. I’ve always loved helping people, and knew I had a lot of love to give others. Little did I know I’d end up taking a very different path into food.
Some of my best memories have been made around a table. I wake up every day thinking about food and ingredients. I started this page back in 2020 as a school project with no intentions of it becoming what it is today. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work as a private chef, struggle on the line in kitchens, cater events, host supper clubs, and collaborate with some amazing brands.
Food continues to teach and humble me every day. I love cooking fun, laid-back, plant-focused food where I can highlight seasonal produce, support local businesses, and cook as sustainably as possible.
I believe good food is for everyone!
I was born and raised in beautiful sunny San Diego, but am currently living in Seattle with my partner and dog, enjoying all the natural beauty of the PNW and what it has to offer us in this chapter of life!
